Louanne Oliveira

Louanne Oliveira is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #19431). Louanne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychology and Public Policies, where she developed a strong foundation in workplace mental health, human development, and systemic factors that influence well-being.
Louanne’s clinical approach is primarily humanistic and grounded in Gestalt therapy, enriched by client-centred principles inspired by Carl Rogers. She believes in meeting clients with authenticity, collaboration, and deep respect for their lived experiences. Louanne integrates elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) into her work and continues to advance her training in both modalities.
Her clinical interests include anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, workplace mental health, identity exploration, and the connection between the body and emotions. Louanne is committed to providing a warm, supportive, and culturally informed therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion.
With over seven years of experience in applied mental health research, program development, and training — including the creation of her own reflective methodology, Letter to the Sender, inspired by Yves Clot’s Clinic of Activity — Louanne brings a thoughtful and integrative perspective to her practice.
Louanne is bilingual in Portuguese and English and welcomes clients who prefer therapy in either language. She strives to make therapy accessible, collaborative, and grounded in each client’s unique story.
